Fall is in the air, and we are getting our homes ready for all things pumpkin and spice! Hoping the weather in SoCal cooperates soon—it would be nice to be able to pull out those sweaters! How about a good Mantel Refresh? We all love to decorate our homes with the new season that is rolling in. That is the fun part of home decor. With every new season comes new decor and a new fresh look for our homes. Getting those bins out and sorting through what we have and deciding what we will use from last year and what we may want to add new this year is always a…

  • Kitchen Remodel

SUE’S KITCHEN REMODEL We moved into our home 14 years ago and have never been able to update our kitchen until now! The granite that we have lived with for all these years had an orange and brown color to it. The prior owners upgraded the kitchen with Thermador appliances and a Sub Zero refrigerator which have been a nice addition to the space. We had been wanting to replace the sink and faucet for a long time and so we just decided to do it!  It turned out AMAZING!  Below are the before pictures of the kitchen.   LANGE COPPER APRON FRONT SINK  SINKOLOGY.COM Believe it or not, the sink…

  • Halloween Haunted Home Decor EASY Tricks and Tips!

When October comes around and you see the bats, witches, and spider webs, do you want to skip right ahead to Christmas?  I have to admit I was one of those people. I really struggled to decorate for Halloween when my kids were little. I think it was because I really didn’t like the color orange and just did not know how to make it work in my house.  I have a lot of fun with it now mostly because I realize I just don’t have to use the color orange and I know I can pull neutral colors into my decor.   Here are some fun ideas to spice up…

  • Teri’s Master Bedroom Makeover

  • Decor We FALL For

We styled a bar cart for Fall, using gold, greenery, and deep blue designs. Check out our Instagram post about it! The temperatures are dropping, the leaves are falling, and our homes are changing once again! We love Autumn/Fall and everything about the weather, hot chocolate, and interior design plans. There’s something refreshing about putting away the skeletons and cobwebs and bringing out the leaves, signs, and warmer colors. Photo from Poor Little It Girl Blog Here are some fun Fall favorites that work from October to November (before those Christmas decorations hit!)—hope you love them as much as we do! • A Coastal + Fresh Summer Patio

Our Styling Tip: We choose flowers that contrast the pillow designsto add a pop of color! Our favorite summer flowers are brightwhites, pinks, and yellows. We also love using brightly colored fruit!  We wanted to restyle Teri’s patio for the summer months so her family could enjoy it! She already had the wicker and wood furniture, so we brought in pillows, a rug, fresh flowers, a vintage tray and glasses, linen napkins, and of course some lemons, because it’s not summer without lemons! We also added some plants, and we styled it about a billion times!  We just love how it turned out. We love styling spaces like this because…
