Baby Nursery Room Reveal!

I’ve been working on something fun for a few months now, and we can finally reveal it! My oldest daughter is pregnant with her first baby due in November!!

I’m a grandma to two beautiful girls from my son and daughter-in-law, so when I found out my daughter was pregnant after she had been trying for a while I was SO HAPPY.

And of course I immediately dreamt up some plans for the baby’s room. Here’s our “vision board” my daughter and I put together before the room began!

I partnered with some AMAZING businesses and brands to pull this room together, working with my daughter’s vision, of course. She and her husband don’t know the baby’s gender yet (we find out July 5th that’s the baby reveal, although she could find out sooner, but they want to wait for family to be there so they had the doctor put the gender in a sealed envelope) so we wanted to create a gender-neutral room with modern/boho vibes. I love a great gender neutral room anyway, so this was fun!

I LOVE this corner of the room! This is what you’ll first see when coming into the room. And my eyes automatically go down to that gorgeous rug! It really ties the whole room together.

This rug is from Home Dynamix—they have so many options depending on your style preferences!

We chose this 8×10 from their New Weave collection. And it did not disappoint!

Home Dynamix has dozens of collections to browse through. You could scroll for hours and find so many beautiful rugs!

The quality is what I love the best—it has a great pile, cleans easily, and really feels like a quality rug.

You can see a part of the Opalhouse Llama basket we found at Target–it’s a water hyacinth weave and it was only $25!

The other round basket was one my daughter already had, but I believe she bought it at Target a few years back. And of course we filled it with some stuffed animals—elephants are my daughter’s favorite!

My daughter got the crib she wanted from Wayfair and the white dresser from IKEA to go opposite each other in the room. Instead of the regular black knobs on the dresser, she bought some beautiful gold pulls from Amazon! They were less than $20 for 12 handles!

My son-in-law is our handyman around here (check out my living room shiplap, bedroom shiplap, bedroom shelves, and farmhouse door projects he completed)

So when we say we want him to build something, he can do it! Seriously . . . show him a photo and say “Please?” and he’s off to work! My daughter loved the natural bookshelves she saw on some Pinterest photos, so he built them for her to fit the wall! IKEA sells a similar bookshelf, but it’s 27″ long and these were about 38″!

We filled the bookshelves with some vintage books, some new ones, and everything in between. I love how they turned out! My daughter hung a cute onesie from LovedBaby from the bottom bookshelf using a hanger she bought from the $1 section at Target.

Then, we were able to partner with HelloBirdieBirdie. My daughter has been a huge fan of her baby mobiles, and we were able to get the Woodland Mobile for her baby’s room! Her Etsy shop is so beautiful, and there are so many choices to choose from when it comes to baby mobiles.

Seriously, how adorable are these? The woodland mobile has a deer, polar bear, rabbit, squirrel, and dog! The packaging is adorable and came with a handwritten note.

My daughter was able to hang it herself using a 3M hook on the ceiling and set it at the height she wanted!

I can’t get over how beautiful the little details are! They really bring the whole room together. And one piece that brings the room together is our incredible canvas print and wood hangers from Hanger Frames.

My daughter had found a digital print on Etsy she really wanted for the baby’s room, and Hanger Frames was able to replicate it and print it on their high-quality canvas paper! We received the 20×30 print with their natural wood frame

The packaging is so beautiful and well done! The instructions were easy to follow and it even came with 3 different string types so you could choose which one to hang your frame with! Their options are great too because you can just buy wood frames if that’s what you’re looking for, or you can get photos/prints!

The piece really works beautifully over the crib as a focal point! The words are lyrics from a song by Andrew McMahon called “Cecilia and the Satellite.”

Across from the crib, my daughter has her rocker from American Furniture Warehouse, the IKEA Hemnes Dresser with new hardware they added, a vintage accordion hanger I found for her at a garage sale, and a great mirror she got on sale at At Home for $20!

She is adding a few more prints/hangings to the room and hoping to find some great Etsy creators to bring some more boho/artsy vibes to the room, but so far the nursery is really coming along!

All the major decor pieces are in place, so now we just wait for baby to arrive!
