• Sweet Dreams with Emma Mattress

SLEEP IS NOT OVERRATED!Many people don’t know this, but I have lived with back pain practically my whole life and it’s not fun. In fact, it is downright painful and can be very debilitating. I had to have back surgery about 13 years ago to remove a bulging disk. I had the surgery because I had no choice at the time—it affected me so much that I found myself not being able to walk because of this disk. Sometimes when I am lying down I have back pain. It’s just what I deal with. I know there are so many people that deal with back pain and the number is…

  • Sink Dreams Come True!

Hi, I’m Sue and I live in Southern California in a town called Temecula. It’s about an hour north of San Diego. Many people do not know where Temecula is but it is nicknamed Wine Country and it’s a very beautiful place to live. My family has lived here for 14 years. Our home is a place that I love to be—in fact, I prefer to stay home many nights instead of going out! Are you like that? A homebody too?  There is no place like being home and I love my home. Our home is a work in progress I like to say I am always working on something, whether…

  • Kitchen Remodel

SUE’S KITCHEN REMODEL We moved into our home 14 years ago and have never been able to update our kitchen until now! The granite that we have lived with for all these years had an orange and brown color to it. The prior owners upgraded the kitchen with Thermador appliances and a Sub Zero refrigerator which have been a nice addition to the space. We had been wanting to replace the sink and faucet for a long time and so we just decided to do it!  It turned out AMAZING!  Below are the before pictures of the kitchen.   LANGE COPPER APRON FRONT SINK  SINKOLOGY.COM Believe it or not, the sink…

  • Master Bath Renovation: Mother/Daughter Edition

What’s better than one renovation? TWO!  That’s right, we have a special post today because we are featuring two bathroom renovations, with before-and-after photos! One bathroom is in California and the other was in Arizona!  My master bathroom was completed around September 2018, and my daughter’s master bathroom was completed just a few weeks ago!  CALIFORNIA We always wanted to do something about our master bathroom, so we finally made the choice to just do it! The room was a little outdated (we hadn’t updated it much since we bought the home), and we were feeling ready for a reno!  The renovation process took a few months, but it was…

  • Halloween Haunted Home Decor EASY Tricks and Tips!

When October comes around and you see the bats, witches, and spider webs, do you want to skip right ahead to Christmas?  I have to admit I was one of those people. I really struggled to decorate for Halloween when my kids were little. I think it was because I really didn’t like the color orange and just did not know how to make it work in my house.  I have a lot of fun with it now mostly because I realize I just don’t have to use the color orange and I know I can pull neutral colors into my decor.   Here are some fun ideas to spice up…
